Custody/Decision Making and Access/Parenting Time

Custody is now called “Decision-Making” and it regards making major decisions for a minor child, including what school they attend, what religion they practice, what extra-curricular activities they are enrolled in and who will be their doctor and dentist.

Access is now called “Parenting Time” and that is the schedule of when each parent should have time with their minor child, including how holidays are divided, if at all.

Danica Maslov or Jay Nadarajah can help you in obtaining a Separation Agreement or court order setting out who has decision making of a child or children and what the parenting schedule will be.
