Roshni was called to the Ontario Bar in 2016 after obtaining her LL.B. from the University of Leicester Law School in the U.K. While in the U.K, she completed a placement at a full-service firm in Birmingham and was also a summer intern at a legal aid firm in London specializing in family law.
She completed her articles with a community legal clinic, focusing on the area of poverty law. After working with low-income individuals, she understands the challenges many people face with access to legal services.
Roshni is committed to helping clients navigate the complexities of the legal system. She strives to provide her clients with creative solutions to help them achieve their desired result in the most efficient way. During her first job as a lawyer at the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic in Toronto, she experienced firsthand the impact family law has on women and children who have experienced violence.
Prior to joining DeLong Law, Roshni practised civil litigation and criminal law in Hamilton. She has experience in a variety of areas including; property disputes, commercial claims, residential construction, landlord and tenant law, personal injury and judicial review.
When not in the courtroom, Roshni enjoys spending time with her family and travelling to new countries. She also enjoys trying new cuisines, playing the piano and skiing.
